1 Park Road Bed & Breakfast - Kendal

The unit we got was spotless with the sofa and a beautiful view. This accommodation was in the central location to the lakes.

The breakfasts here where delicious with toast and also a good vegetarian alternative and the omelette. Appreciated my guest room with a good view and the fairtrade coffee plus nice touches. Actually everything was excellent, my next choice again in Windermere😀👍

perfect proximity to parks and charming attractions for strolls

I had a good stay in a spacious room with a lovely decor, made it feel like a real home away from home, and I appreciated the great breakfast selection that included a delicious omelette served in a cozy dining area, all while being just a few steps from Queen's Park and a short stroll to the High Street for various shops and cafes.

The stay was quite enjoyable, primarily due to the welcoming atmosphere and the superb breakfast options. I had easy access throughout the property, which was quite senior-friendly. The owner was particularly helpful with local recommendations. the shower temperature could use a bit of adjustment.

Hilton prepared a mouthwatering breakfast each morning, with his homemade jams, made every bite extraordinary. I loved the cozy yet eclectic decor and the warm environment were nice.

The hotel has a lovely atmosphere with comfy rooms and friendly hosts. Breakfast was enjoyable, with options including homemade jams. Parking was a bit limited, so plan ahead if you're visiting in peak season. A decent experience with room for improvement.

This place is just amazin! Hilton is a fantastic host, super helpful. The breakfast was the best, loads of options and the homemade jams were a nice touch. Great view from our room, really clean and cozy! Oh, and loved the little things like a fridge with fresh milk for tea, such a nice detail!

The mattress was kinda hard for our taste and the pillows could be better. Parking was a bit tight, but not a dealbreaker.

The warm and inviting decor of 1 Park Road, and the accessibility for seniors was excellent, allowing easy navigation throughout the hotel. The cozy atmosphere was particularly comforting .

We enjoyed a cozy two-night escape in a well-equipped standard room. The ambience was perfect for relaxation, with comfy furnishings and thoughtful touches. Breakfast was good, though my partner wished for hotter beans and a herb-free option for his mushrooms. Still, overall, a lovely stay.

Host Hilton was kind, providing nice touches like wine glasses and snacks. The location is perfect, just a short walk to Windermere center.

My kids wished the bathroom was more modern and comfortable.

Me and my partner had such a lovely stay! The room was big, super clean, and comfy. Breakfast was really good, too-lots to choose from like hot and cold options. Only wish the Wi-Fi was better, kinda spotty at times.

Perfect for a couple's retreat

The homemade jams and freshly squeezed juice were out of this world, a good way to start every morning.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but definitely worth the cost.

The room here had modern amenities like a TV, hair dryer, and kettle, the breakfast, especially yogurt and fruit.

The breakfast here is fantastic - the yogurt and fruit are delicious and superb.
